This artwork was inspired from two sources. One was from an encounter of a tree with the foliage in the shape of a human head. The other, from reports of the rising death toll of greenery due to the global warming phenomenon. In addition to deforestation and other human-induced tree-harming events such as acid rain, global warming is, in theory, our linkage to the rise in mortality rates of greenery. Hopefully, this artwork, would trigger an awareness on this issue. Used for Graniph Design award 2009. The rough sketch to log the idea in my journal will be located in my scraps. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
